Call for Proposal
Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for the 2025 International Symposium on Aviation Psychology!
ISAP is a venue for research on human performance in aviation systems, and for design solutions tailored to human aptitudes. We welcome proposals on any topics within aviation psychology, and on any basic or applied research that speaks to issues of human performance in socio-technical systems. Behavioral, neuroscientific, computational, and other approaches are all appropriate.
Proposal Submission Opens: August 31, 2024
Submission Extended Deadline: October 15, 2024
Decisions Announced: November 2024 (tentative)
Students are encouraged to participate in The Stanley Nelson Roscoe Best Student Paper Competition. Any student who is the lead author on a presentation is eligible. Award finalists will be invited to present their papers in a dedicated meeting session. Please indicate interest when submitting your proposal.
Instructions for Submitting a Proposal:
Submit an Abstract Title of up to 15 words and an Abstract Submission of up to 250 words using the Submission Button above. If pertinent, you will also be asked to provide additional author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s). Our committee will review submissions and organize the programming. We’ll ask you to indicate your preferred presentation format, and will do our best to give you the format you request.
Conference presenters will be invited to submit an optional 6-page paper for inclusion in the meeting proceedings.
- Oral: This is typically a longer speech with a more dynamic presentation, PowerPoint or other screen sharing tools will be utilized.
- Poster: An interactive format in which you have the chance to discuss your work face-to-face with small groups of people.
- Symposium: A thematic session of 4-5 presentations followed by a moderated discussion.
